U15 JPL & U17 JPLA Claim Cup Titles

MetroStars have claimed the Under 15 and Under 17 Junior Cup titles after wins in today's Cup Final held at ServiceFM Stadium.

The Under 15 JPL side went down early in the match to Adelaide Comets, before Jordan Schirripa scored just after half time.

Julian Ialeggio scored after 72 minutes, but moments later Comets equalised. With 8 minutes remaining, Ialeggio scored once again, to seal the victory for the side coached by Beni Cirocco.

Meanwhile, the Under 17A JPL side claimed a 5-1 victory over Playford Patriots.

Remy Semenov scored after only 9 minutes, but Playford equalised five minutes later from the penalty spot.

Nearing the half hour mark, Conrad Smith gave MetroStars the lead, and after half time Bailey Everitt scored to extend the lead to 3-1. In the final 10 minutes, Jakob Oliver scored twice to round out a 5-1 victory for coach Carmine Calabrese's team.
