TKS Re-Development Commences

MetroStars is excited to announce the commencement of facility upgrade at TK Shutter Reserve thanks to investment by City of Port Adelaide Enfield, State Government and MetroStars to support the increase and diverse participation of Football in the north east of Adelaide.

The current clubroom section of the building will remain in tact, with the upgrade to replace the existing changeroom area.

The facility upgrade includes four changerooms, offices, board room, 250 seat grandstand, storage units and media centre, plus a grand entrance foyer from the car park to the main pitch.

MetroStars will also create a Well Being space within the new upgrade, which will provide the club a dedicated area to support its players, coaches and members.

One of the changerooms will be designated to the Metro United Womens Football Club.

There will be a brand new media centre facility built on the north side of the main pitch over the current scoreboard location, which will provide much needed facilities for our media partners.

The facility will also see a brand new 150sqm raked roof store facility, which will provide ample storage space for the club.

Demolition of the changerooms will commence later in the year, while temporary changeroom and amenities will be installed to the west of the clubrooms during construction.

MetroStars requests that visitors to TK Shutter Reserve observe safety signs during the construction period.

Construction is proposed to be completed August 2024.
