MetroStars unveil new logo
MetroStars are pleased to unveil our new permanent logo ahead of the 2021 National Premier Leagues season.
A motion to ratify the club's new logo was passed last night at a Special General Meeting (SGM) at T.K. Shutter Reserve last night.
At the 2019 AGM, it was agreed that a commemorative 25-year logo would be used in 2020 with the proviso that the club would return to its traditional logo for Season 2021.
The club used this opportunity to update and modernise it’s logo for future generations. The traditional trademarked logo will not be lost, moving to the back of the collar, where it will remain as a reminder of our past and history indefinitely.
The new logo incorporates our past and history and links us to the current and future generation as well as signifying some key milestones. The traditional star with the soccer ball inside which was the central focal point of our original logo has returned.
There is also reference to the year we were established showing our history. The three stars at the top represent the Championships won, whilst the five stars at the bottom represent the Federation Cup victories. The lone star under 1994 represents the National NPL Championship won in 2014.
