Amateur coaches appointed for 2021

MetroStars is pleased to announce the re-appointment of Steve Greaves as the club's Amateur First Team Coach for the 2021 South Australian Amateur Soccer League season.

Greaves joined MetroStars from Athelstone Soccer Club in 2019 as the club re-entered the South Australian Amateur League for the first time since 1999.

He led the club to a very respectable 2nd place finish in the Iain Gossland Sheild, before being eliminated from the President's Cup by Division 1 side Para Hills West.

Lee Gregson will take over the Reserves coaching role from Liam Allen for 2021, while Owen Jayne will join as Team Assistant.

Rob Folker will continue as Team Manager, continuing to provide invaluable support off the pitch for players and coaches.

Following a strong 2020, MetroStars have made the decision to add a third 'C' team for the 2021 South Australian Amateur Soccer League season.

Jason Cavey, who has previously coached with sister club Metro United, has been appointment as the club's inaugural 'C' team coach.
