Amateurs Round Up: MetroStars 3-1 Macedonia
TWO late goals secured MetroStars a hard fought win over Macedonia last weekend at T.K. Shutter Reserve.
Will Skelly opened the scoring on 4 minutes, converting from a set piece. MetroStars controlled possession for most of the game but were unable to add to their lead further.
Macedonia fought hard and found an equaliser with 20 minutes remaining.
Goalkeeper Bobby Bilney pulled out another spectacular save to keep the scores level.
Goals in the final 5 minutes from Samuel Livori and captain Callum Jayne sealed the 3 points and moved Metro up to second on the ladder with 4 games played.

Our Reserves side were too good for Macedonia as they secured their second win of the season.
MetroStars wasted no time as they took ahead early when Cavey finished from close range.
Livewire Jackson Livori grabbed himself a brace as also forced an own goal as Metro went into the half-time break with a healthy 4-0 lead.
Tidy finishes from Faranda and substitute Hoffman added to the scoreline before Maceondia were allowed a late consolation goal moments before full-time, denying us a clean sheet.
