Dylan Smith joins MetroStars

North Eastern MetroStars has made it's first addition to the senior squad with the signing of exciting playmaker Dylan Smith from Sturt Lions.

The former Adelaide United NPL captain Smith was awarded the Foxtel National Youth League Player of the Year Award in 2016. He scored seven goals in the Adelaide United Youth Team that successful won the NYL’s 2015/2016 Conference A and was also part of the squad’s NYL Grand Final team.

Dylan then moved onto National Premier League SA club Adelaide City in 2017, where he netted 5 goals in 11 games. An opportunity then presented itself to sign for Victorian NPL giant Green Gully where he made 12 league appearances, scoring twice. Dylan then returned to SA with Sturt Lions where he made 22 appearance and netted 5 times.
