Knights Snatch Victory Over MetroStars

A Shinya Yoshida goal 10 minutes from time, gave Para Hills Knights a 2-1 victory over North Eastern MetroStars in Round 20 of the National Premier League – SA competition at The Paddocks today.

The Knights dealt MetroStars with a huge dent in their aspirations to finish top of the ladder.

Luke Collalancia gave the Knights the lead in additional time of the first half.

Christian Esposito notched up his 17th goal of the season, when he levelled the scores with a header from a corner after 68 minutes.

But it was Yoshida’s goal which gave the Knights the victory, to give his side hope in making the top 6 final series.

MetroStars remained second on the table, four points behind leaders Campbelltown City with two matches remaining.
