In accordance with the North Eastern MetroStars Soccer Club Inc. Constitution, the 2017 Annual General Meeting will be held on:

Tuesday 14 November 2017 at 7.30pm
TK Shutter Reserve, Fourth Avenue, Klemzig

If you are unable to attend the AGM you may lodge the proxy slip by downloading the form here, to vote on matters that arise from the AGM and authorize another person to vote on your behalf. 

There are a number of Management Committee and Sub-Committee positions available, and three officer positions (Secretary, Treasurerand Ordinary Members) and I urge you to nominate yourself or consider another candidate to join.

Non-financial members are also welcome to attend the AGM, as non-voting guests.

MetroStars and Rhino Australia have partnered for 2017 FFA Cup campaign. Rhino will appear on the front of MetroStars 2017 FFA Cup jersey for the entirety of this season’s competition which commences on Wednesday 26th July against Bankstown Berries.

            South Australian Government announces
                      funding for TK Shutter Reserve

Government Funding

The South Australian Government announced that funding commitment for upgrade at TK Shutter Reserve, part of a $10 million commitment announced in the State Budget to help local football clubs meet growing demand.

North Eastern MetroStars' TK Shutter Reserve at Klemzig will receive funding for an artificial pitch and lighting upgrade.

MetroStars President Andrew Perrone was excited about the announcement for the club.

"This investment will go a long way to addressing the growing pressures facing the club to cater for the increasing participation in the sport.  Open space for team sport is a luxury."

"This funding will maximise utilisation on our footprint and raise the standard for our kids."

"On behalf of the 330 kids, 50 seniors and 600 plus parents and volunteers we say thank you to the State Government, FFSA and Local Council for working together to commit to such funding projects that will provide benefits that will been joyed for years to come," said Perrone.

Football Federation SA (FFSA) CEO, Michael Carter, spoke on behalf of the entire State’s Football Community to thank the State Government for their continued support."FFSA is delighted with the support of the State Government in regards to our growing demand for improved Football infrastructure,” Michael said.  "As participation continues to grow it is important that as a sport we are planning for the future, the entire Football Family joins in thanking the State Government for their support.”

Shooting Stars Soccer Academy

The programme is run on Friday Nights.  Parents interested in the programme need to print (a double-sided copy) and fully complete the Amateur Registration Form.

Shooting Stars Soccer Academy has a vision to provide opportunities for young players to play, learn and enjoy soccer at all levels from ages 4 and up.  Shooting Stars also has gained a strong reputation as a reputable resource for MetroStars Soccer Club and its development for future players and coaches.  Shooting Stars Soccer Academy has a strong commitment to providing excellent soccer instruction in a safe environment, where the players will have an enjoyable, positive learning experience.

Shooting Stars is open to both boys and girls from ages 4 and up and focuses on the fundamental soccer concepts, skills and techniques.  Maximum participation opportunities for all children involved, and parents are encouraged to assist and support participants.

A program that offers various stages and individual levels.  Low player to coach ratio for concentrated development.  A fun program which builds self-esteem and
The programme runs for 10-weeks at a time throughout the year, in-line with the school terms.  All training is held at TK Shutter Reserve, Fourth Avenue, Klemzig.
